Saturday, July 19 was a 'free day' of sorts.  We spent time at the farmers market in the morning.  There's an amazing amount of fresh fruit and vegetable stands, as well as, many artisans peddling their homemade goods.  We also had time to visit the beautiful Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral.

In the afternoon we went to a local beach, at a lake within the city of Zagreb.  The temperature had to have been over 30 degrees so it was great to jump in the water and cool off.  A few people got a game of beach volleyball going ... lots of fun and little competitive spirit!!

In the evening the parents went for supper, with our tour guide Vince, to a local Croatian restaurant.  The dancers visited the Main Square to take in the folklore entertainment and then a few of them visited a local nite club.  Tomorrow we're off to to Budapest, Hungary!
